It also includes the selection of the appropriate estate planning vehicles, such as custodianships, wills, testamentary trusts and domestic and offshore revocable and irrevocable inter vivos trusts, as well as liquidity planning to provide for the payment of death taxes and costs of administration through optimal use of the unified credit, marital deduction, life insurance and charitable giving. 

The firm also assists clients in maximizing use of the generation-skipping transfer tax exemptions through lifetime and testamentary gifts and irrevocable life insurance trusts and evaluation and implementation of sophisticated estate freezing techniques, such as charitable split-interest trusts, installment sales, corporate recapitilizations, partnership freezes, buy-sell agreements, family partnership freezes, and specialized insurance protection.
